Needle Felted Ornaments with Kathie Beale

10 to 11 am  -  6 spots (CURRENTLY FULL) check tent day of if slots become available!

Needle felting is a fun and creative art that allows you to create beautiful and unique pieces using just a few basic materials. If you’re new to needle felting, this will be a “mini-introduction” to get you started felting. In this one-hour class, you will create a needle-felted ornament with your choice of shapes made from cookie-cutter boundaries.  You will learn to needle felt core wool to make your 3-D shape then colored wool to decorate as you wish.  All materials will be provided

Small Needle Felted Painting with Kathie Beale

11 am to 12:30 pm  -  6 spots (CURRENTLY FULL) check tent day of if slots become available!

Small Needle Felted Painting -  “Wool painting” is a technique used to create pictures, not by the method of dry or wet felting, but by placing multiple colors of dry wool in layers on a quilted fabric surface. In this one-hour class, You will make your own mini wool painting in a hoop to hang. The landscape will be felted with needles and colored wool onto a wool base. All materials will be provided

Puppet Making with Lily Gershon

12:30 to 2 pm. -  12 spots

Children will make a hand puppet from provided materials.  We will bring the fabric puppet body shapes of different colors and designs, as well as yarn, fabric, buttons, beads, markers, and other materials to add faces and accessories

Glaze Your Own Tile with Pottery Works

10 am to 12 pm. -  20 spots

Participants will choose from a selection of bisque ware tiles ranging in size, 3.5"x3.5", 6"x6", or 8"x8" (some are plain and some have raised designs on them such as a mandala, butterfly or dragon). Participants will then receive instruction on how to paint their piece with pottery glazes of their choice. Pottery Works will fire the tiles at our studio and will contact participants when they're ready for pickup, in approximately 3 weeks. Participants will need to provide contact information

Driftwood Beach Buddies with Pam Kavalesky

2 to 3 pm  -  12 spots

Make your own driftwood buddy - Add a mouth and googly eyes to bring your driftwood Beach Buddies to life.  Take home a village of whimsical personalities.  Driftwood, glue, paint, and eyes are provided.  Driftwood pieces range in height from about 3" to 12".
