The 2023 Arts off Main Festival

The 2023 Arts Off Main Festival was a family-friendly celebration of Cortland’s art and creativity, and downtown. On August 5th, 2023 Court Street was closed to traffic between Main Street & Church Street for the festival. The celebration was free and complete with art vendors, live music, performing artists, children’s activities, wine and craft beverage tasting and takeout food from downtown restaurants.

 

Live music and entertainment was performed throughout the day.  Take a look at the schedule!
 

We had mini workshops happening all throughout the day!  There was also be activities such as a pottery throwing demo, chalk art, characature artist and children's tent.

Patrons listened to great music from talented local performers while enjoying a glass of wine or craft beverages in the wine garden from Cortland Beer Company or enjoying food from downtown restaurants in our outdoor eating area. A Takeout Station was set up to provide a spot for menus to order from (by phone or online) and the delivery of takeout orders from local restaurants.

The 2022 Arts off Main Festival

The Arts Off Main Festival is a reimagining of the twelve-year-old Arts & Wine Festival was held August 6th, 2022, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The parking lot behind the McNeil building (17-29 Main St), nestled between Main, Central and Church Streets was transformed into a family-friendly celebration of Cortland’s art and creativity, and downtown. The celebration was free and complete with artist vendors, live music, performing artists, live pottery demonstration, children’s activities, wine and craft beverage tasting and food from downtown restaurants*

Live music and entertainment was performed throughout the day. 

A Pinwheel Decorating Challenge & display of entries, with free kits for pick up in July and at the festival so participants had a chance to use their creative talents. Prizes were awarded.

 

An interactive chalk mural with festival goers participation and 3-D Chalk Artists created  festival murals live.

Patrons were able to listen to great music from talented local performers while enjoying a glass of wine or craft beverages from the Finger Lakes Tasting Room or enjoying food from downtown restaurants in our outdoor eating area. A Takeout Station was set up to provide a spot for menus to order from (by phone or online) and the delivery of takeout orders from local restaurants.
